The Nature Classroom: GROUP 1

Hello everyone we are Dámaris, Ana, Elena, Yaiza and Frida!

We five will talk about our experience in the nature classroom, how we feel, the activities we did, what we liked, what we didn't like ...

We also will get some pictures, videos and audios to give you an idea how we had in the camp

The first day we got to the classroom in the afternoon, we went to the cabin to divide the rooms, there was a room with 18 beds another room with 12 beds and a smaller room for teachers.
After teachers taught us the bathrooms, kitchen and where we would eat...
We had a while to finish settling in, explore the place... After this we started doing our first activity that was 'Find your tree'. When we finished this activity. Group 1, mine group, prepared the picnic, for the next day.
About 8 in the evening we did a bonfire, where we had dinner together later and where did our last activity outside, of the day. Before we go to sleep we made our last activity, called: 'Really know my surroundings?'

1.The first activity we did was to 'Find your trees' consisting of: People are split into pairs and one of them is blindfolded and the other one guides him/her to any tree. The guide tells him/her to get to know the tree through the different senses like touch, smell, sound. Then, they come back to the starting point, and take the blindfold off. Finally, they have to try to find their tree.

2.The second activity we did was one of relaxation, where the teacher said us, that we have to lie on the ground, we have to close your eyes, relax and do the things that she was telling us, to get in touch with nature

3.Finally we did the last activity: 'Really know my surroundings?' It consist in answer six question about pine tree

The second day we woke up early, while a group prepared the breakfast, others were preparing for the first activity of the day was a hike in the mountain. We were two and a half hours more or less walking, but it was fun, we learned new things and saw the different flora and fauna in La Guancha.

When we return to the campin a group prepared the lunch, then we ate. Finally about 7 pm we made our next activity was to feed some birds with pineapples made by us. First we caught some pineapples, then we spread it with peanut butter and finally we put over it some seeds, and we wait to birds eat it.

We can not do the activity of the constellation, because the sky was cloudy and you could not see anything. So that, we had dinner and go to the beds.
